            The newest express way that opened today is named as The Central Express Way. Also it is the most beautiful express way in Sri Lanka. This is connecting Colombo - Kandy & Dambulla cities in Sri Lanka. Expressway begins at the Kadawatha Interchange on the E02 Outer Circular Highway, passing through the Gampaha, Kurunegala and Matale districts and ending at Dambulla on the A9 Kandy-Jaffna Expressway. A connecting highway starting from Pothuhera and ending at Galagedara provides access to the Kandy District.
